Be on the Front Lines of Public Safety Education
Choosing a life of public service is the most selfless decision you could ever make. As a first responder, it will be your duty to keep our communities safe, respond in times of crisis, and every day, put the needs of others before your own — but South Piedmont will be there with you every step of the way. We are proud to partner with EMS and law enforcement agencies throughout our region to offer public safety programs designed to help you start and advance your career. You bring the courage and commitment. We’ll bring the curriculum. Together, we’ll keep Anson and Union counties safe.
Our Grads are Making a Difference
At South Piedmont, our Public Safety programs are all taught by seasoned professionals who’ve spent years working in law enforcement or for public safety agencies. Time and again we hear from alumni who say our instructors were able to offer more than what the textbook ever could. Our instructors share their real-life experiences with our students, helping the education come to life.

Train to Make a Difference
We see people on some of their worst days. We have the chance to help them, treat them well, and make whatever they’re going through a little better. That’s what it’s all about.
