The mission of the Communication (MIC) Center is to empower students, faculty, and the community to master the art of effective communication through a comprehensive suite of resources, activities, and practical experiences. In alignment with the College’s mission, “To foster lifelong learning, student success, and workforce and community development,” the MIC Center commits to enhancing the communication competence of all participants. We provide a supportive and interactive environment where individuals can engage in activities designed to refine their ability to apply appropriate context in communication, support their arguments with clarity and conviction, and utilize established conventions alongside effective visual aids and delivery techniques.
