This focused certificate will provide you with practical skills in financial record-keeping and accounting software applications. This program is ideal for those seeking quick entry into bookkeeping roles or to enhance their existing business skills.

Preparation for the Financial World

As a South Piedmont Accounting & Finance student, you will study business law, finance, management, and economics, as well as communications, computer applications, financial analysis, critical thinking, and ethics. You’ll be prepared to gain entry-level accounting employment at manufacturers, small businesses, banks, hospitals, school systems, and government agencies. Our Accounting & Finance options will also prepare you for higher level study at a four-year university.
