Stephen King describes writing stories as part of an archaeological exploration into an undiscovered world.
Writers pull up forgotten artifacts from the past that help describe who we are and where we have come from. Learn how to dig up these relics in the form of stories in Creative Writing Camp! SPCC instructors will describe the basics of storytelling in various forms, such as poetry and short fiction/non-fiction, to reveal the power of storytelling. Students will produce their own poetry and short fiction/non-fiction, learn about peer review workshops, and the revise their work during this four-day camp.
