Robert “Ernie” Adler is the Owner and Head Smokemaster of Ernie’s Smokehouse BBQ. He has been operating Ernie’s Smokehouse for more than 18 years providing a diverse range of cuisines, notably his award-winning traditional and upscale BBQ.
Ernie’s passion and knowledge in the food industry is second to none. He has been a familiar face on WBTV-CBS news and WCNC-NBC’s Charlotte Today Show where he breaks down the art of grilling. Ernie believes in helping others succeed in the culinary scene and in addition to teaching private grilling lessons he also instructs Food Truck Startup 101 through local community colleges.
