Welcome Week 2026

Start the semester with free food, activities, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with Student Life, SGA, clubs, campus departments, and community partners.

Old Charlotte Highway Campus: August 17–20

L.L. Polk Campus: August 24–27

Activities throughout the two weeks include Pelican SnoBall, ice cream socials, Doughnuts with the President, E-Sports activities, campus tours, and Involvement Fairs.

Students who sign in at the Involvement Fair can receive a free Welcome Week T-shirt while supplies last. T-shirts are limited to the first 200 students at each campus.

Please register to let us know which Welcome Week events you plan to attend. All activities are free for SPCC students.

WEEK 2

  • Monday, August 24 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
    • Pelican SnoBall and Meet the New E-Sports Coach | Martin Student Center
  • Tuesday, August 25 | 9:00–10:30 AM
    • Doughnuts with the President | Horne Library
      • Enjoy free doughnuts and meet SPCC President Dr. Waters-Bailey.
  • Wednesday, August 26 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM 
    • Ice Cream Social with SGA | Martin Student Center
      • Enjoy a free bowl of ice cream and learn how to get involved on campus.
  • Thursday, August 27 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
    • Involvement Fair | Martin Student Center and Patio
      • Meet student clubs, college departments, community partners, and campus resources. Enjoy inflatable attractions, hot dogs, chips, drinks, and music.
