The South Piedmont Community College Services Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering innovation and advancing the mission of South Piedmont Community College. It develops and manages entrepreneurial ventures, strategic partnerships, and community-focused projects that enhance the college’s educational and financial sustainability.
ASCEND704
Ascend704 is South Piedmont’s hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, located in the L. Carlton Tyson building on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus. This dynamic space will feature coworking areas, private offices, and flexible workspaces, as well as host entrepreneurial training programs and networking events designed to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, and remote professionals thrive. Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in December 2026, Ascend704 will serve as a catalyst for collaboration, creativity, and business growth. Our event center offers a flexible, modern venue for conferences, workshops, and community gatherings. Designed with technology, accessibility, and hospitality in mind, it provides the perfect setting for both college-hosted and community events.
