South Piedmont Planning Two Neighborhood Pop-Up Events in Wadesboro

South Piedmont Community College will host two neighborhood pop-up events in Wadesboro on May 5 and 6. 

The events will take place at the following dates and times:

May 5
10 a.m. to noon
Myrtlewood Apartments (community room)
200 West Short Plaza, Wadesboro

May 6
10 a.m. to noon
Oak Hill Apartments (community room)
1355 N. Greene St., Wadesboro

The events are being held at the Myrtlewood and Oak Hill communities, but they are open to anyone in the area who would like to attend. 

At the events, attendees will be able to learn about South Piedmont’s workforce and academic programs, the admissions process, and financial aid opportunities, including Anson Advantage, a scholarship program exclusively for Anson County residents. 

“We are committed to connecting Anson County residents with educational opportunities. We look forward to meeting the residents of Myrtlewood and Oak Hill and learning more about how South Piedmont can best serve them,” said Vice President of Marketing & Communications Rachel Colquitt.
