South Piedmont Community College inducted 19 students into its chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, during a ceremony on April 16.
“Our PTK inductees have committed themselves to academic excellence, and now their hard work, perseverance, and consistency is being rewarded. Congratulations to all,” said President Dr. Maria Pharr.

To be eligible for PTK membership, the students must have completed at least 12 hours of coursework toward their degree or at least six hours of coursework to a certificate and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
