South Piedmont Community College recently celebrated the 51st graduating class of its Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program. The graduates were recognized during a ceremony on Dec. 4 at the Old Charlotte Highway campus.
In addition to completing the BLET program, the graduates carry the distinguishment of achieving a 100-percent pass rate on the state law enforcement licensing exam.
“This 100-percent pass rate reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the commitment of our instructional staff to prepare them for the realities of law enforcement,” said Director of Law Enforcement Training Mike Smith.
“We are proud of each graduate and the professionalism they bring to their agencies and communities.”
