Robert P. Holding Foundation Continues Tradition of Giving to South Piedmont; Gifts Now Total More than $100,000

The Robert P. Holding Foundation has made its fourth consecutive investment in South Piedmont Community College, bringing its total giving to more than $100,000.

On Dec. 11, the Robert P. Holding Foundation presented the South Piedmont Community College Foundation with a $20,000 check. The Robert P. Holding Foundation has been a supporter of South Piedmont since 2020, giving a total of $103,520.24 to support the College’s programs and services.

“We are beyond grateful for the support of the Robert P. Holding Foundation. This gift will be used to provide student scholarships, removing financial barriers to higher education, and to enrich our academic programs and offerings. Thanks to the Robert P. Holding Foundation, we are able to offer affordable, accessible, workforce-relevant education and training to our who students, who go on to provide for their families and contribute to the growth of our region,” said Interim South Piedmont President Michelle Brock.

“It is no exaggeration to say that together, South Piedmont and the Robert P. Holding Foundation are changing lives and our community. We extend our most heartfelt thanks.”
