South Piedmont Community College is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Excellence in Teaching (EIT) Awards, which recognize outstanding faculty members who demonstrate dedication, innovation, and a strong commitment to student success.
Students are invited to nominate their favorite instructor—either full-time or adjunct (part-time)—who has made a meaningful impact on their learning experience.
The nomination period opens today Thursday, March 12 and closes Thursday, March 19. Students can submit their nominations using the online form below:

Final recipients of the Excellence in Teaching Awards will be selected on or before May 8.
