Careers Take Flight with Take Off Thursdays

South Piedmont Community College is launching a new on-campus recruiting experience designed to connect students and job seekers directly with employers.

Beginning this spring, Take Off Thursdays will bring students, job seekers, and regional employers together to network, explore career paths, and learn about real job opportunities.

Join Us This Spring
Events held from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, Feb. 19
  • Thursday, Mar. 19
  • Friday, May 8

Employers scheduled to attend include Alliance Health and Homecare, Carotek, Coca-Cola Consolidated, McKenney’s, Northeast Tool & Manufacturing, and SEECO. Participating employers are subject to change.

All events will be held at the Old Charlotte Highway Campus, Building A Conference Center.

Additional Take Off Thursdays events are planned throughout the year, with recruiting events coming to the Anson Campus in fall 2026.
