South Piedmont to Host Fall Open House on October 8

South Piedmont Community College will host its Fall Open House from 4–7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Old Charlotte Highway Campus and Tyson Family Center for Technology.

The address for the Old Charlotte Highway campus is 1851 S. Piedmont St., Monroe

The address for the Tyson Family Center for Technology is 3509 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe.

The event will give prospective students and community members an opportunity to explore campus, learn more about programs and resources, and connect with faculty and staff.

During the Open House, attendees can:

  • Tour campus facilities
  • Apply to College
  • Receive assistance with financial aid
  • Learn about degree programs and workforce training opportunities
  • Meet instructors
  • Learn about student clubs and organizations

The Open House will also feature an Application Party, a portion of the event designed to provide prospective students with one-on-one assistance as they apply to South Piedmont. Staff will be available to walk attendees through the application process, answer questions and help them understand the next steps toward becoming a South Piedmont student.

Plus, those who register for the Open House, attend the event, and apply to South Piedmont during the Open House will be entered to win a $200 Amazon gift card.

Whether attendees are considering college for the first time, looking to advance their careers or interested in learning more about what South Piedmont has to offer, the Open House is an opportunity for attendees to get their questions answered and explore their options.
