Anyone looking to strengthen their computer skills still have time to enroll in South Piedmont Community College’s free evening Digital Literacy classes.
Whether you’re preparing for a new career, advancing in your current job, or simply building confidence with technology, this class is a great opportunity to develop valuable digital skills. Participants receive hands-on instruction in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and other essential digital tools used in today’s workplace.
“Learn Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs in our computer class to build valuable digital skills for school, work, and everyday tasks,” said Coordinator/Instructor of Digital Literacy Carley Walls. “Join us after work in this evening course designed for busy adults.”
The following evening classes are currently accepting students through the Aug. 27 census date:
- English Evening Class
- Aug. 18–Dec. 10
- Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 5:30–8:30 p.m.
- Old Charlotte Highway Campus
- Spanish Evening Class
- Aug. 18–Dec. 10
- Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 5:30–8:30 p.m.
- Old Charlotte Highway Campus
The classes are offered at no cost to participants. Students who successfully complete the course will also receive a $250 voucher that can be applied toward another eligible class at South Piedmont.
Whether learning new technology for work, preparing for college, or simply building confidence using everyday computer applications, the Digital Literacy program equips students with practical skills they can use immediately.
