South Piedmont Community College has selected Amy Ball Braswell as its new vice president of strategic enrollment management.
Braswell joins South Piedmont from Forsyth Technical Community College, where she spent eight years in progressively responsible leadership roles. She began as grants compliance manager and most recently served as associate vice president of student success.
Prior to her work at Forsyth Tech, Braswell served as project manager for the Southwest Virginia Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence. She also held several positions with Barter Theatre and served as director of business operations for Capo’s Music Store, which was recognized as a National Association of Music Merchants Top 100 Retailer for four consecutive years.
Braswell is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
As vice president of strategic enrollment management, Braswell will oversee Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Institutional Effectiveness and the Registrar’s Office. The division will support students throughout the enrollment process, from application to registration, while also providing data and analysis to inform institutional decision-making, program development and marketing and communications strategies.
“Amy brings extensive experience in enrollment strategy, student success initiatives, and data-informed decision-making. Throughout the search process, it was clear that she possesses the leadership, vision, and collaborative approach needed to advance our enrollment efforts and support our students,” said President Dr. Stacy Waters-Bailey.
“We are thrilled to soon call her a member of the South Piedmont family.”
Braswell will begin in her new role on Aug. 1.
