South Piedmont Welcomes Dr. Bob Shackleford as Spring 2026 Keynote Speaker

South Piedmont Community College welcomes Dr. Bob Shackleford as the Spring 2026 keynote speaker for “New Year, New You”, an inspiring event focused on goal setting, leadership, and starting the year with clarity and confidence.

The keynote will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from noon to 1 p.m., on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to find seating. Final room details will be shared by Feb. 7 based on registration numbers.

Dr. Shackleford brings decades of leadership experience across higher education, community organizations, and the military. He has studied leadership at the doctoral level, taught leadership studies at High Point University, and led leadership training for military commanders as a chaplain. As President of Randolph Community College, he launched leadership academies for both students and employees—programs he personally led for 15 years and that consistently filled to capacity. A sought-after speaker for conferences and leadership programs across the state, Dr. Shackleford is known for his engaging, practical approach and his passion for helping people grow as leaders.

“New Year, New You” is open to students, faculty, staff, and the community. Advance registration is encouraged.
