South Piedmont Community College has received a $5,000 donation to support its Law Enforcement Management Academy from the Monroe-based law firm of Leitner, Bragg & Griffin.
“We are most thankful for this donation, which will help us to continue to expand and enhance our Law Enforcement Management Academy,” said Mark Coan, assistant director of law enforcement training.
“It is no exaggeration to say that donations such as these make a life-saving difference in our community. With the support of donors such as Leitner, Bragg & Griffin, we’re able to elevate law enforcement training, which translates to higher levels of law enforcement service throughout our region. Thank you, Leitner, Bragg & Griffin for your support.”
The Law Enforcement Management Academy offers a comprehensive six-month training program for entry- and mid-level officers. Topics include leadership, media relations, budgeting and team building.
