Anson County Domestic Violence Coalition
The Anson County Domestic Violence Coalition offers a crisis line, counseling, advocacy services, emergency transportation and shelter, and support groups.


Anson County Transportation
Live in Anson County and need help getting to campus? Anson County Transportation provides low-cost transportation services.


Common Heart
Serving Union County, Common Heart offers a food pantry that aims to eliminate food insecurity in our community.


Community Shelter of Union County
The Community Shelter of Union County offers food programs, emergency shelter, and assistance in securing permanent housing.


Crisis Assistance Ministries
Serving both Anson and Union counties, Crisis Assistance Ministries provides assistance and advocacy to people in financial crisis, helping them to become self-sufficient.


Daymark Recovery Services
Daymark provides a wide range of outpatient and psychiatric services for the treatment of mental illnesses, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.



Department of Health and Human Services
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services offers a variety of services, from vaccinations to childcare assistance.



Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities
EIPD helps individuals overcome disability-related barriers, secure employment, and live more independently.


Feed My Lambs
Based in Wadesboro, Feed My Lambs offers a thrift store and food programs. Recipients must meet eligibility requirements.


HELP Pregnancy Center
Serving Union County, HELP Pregnancy Center offers pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, education programming, and more.


HOPE Pregnancy Resource Center
Serving Anson County, HOPE Pregnancy Resource Center offers pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, abortion information, and a post-abortion Bible study.


InReach
InReach provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including residential and employment assistance.


National Suicide Prevention Hotline

NCWorks
NCWorks is North Carolina’s official workforce development system, offering services such as career assessments, career counseling, access to training programs, and a job portal.


North Carolina Cooperative Extension-Anson County
The North Carolina Cooperative Extension-Anson County operates a mobile market to promote healthy eating. Fresh produce, blood pressure and sugar checks, and healthy lifestyle information are available.


Rehabilitation Centers

Turning Point
Turning Point provides resources for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. There is no charge for services.
