Programs for Every Level of Teacher Education

South Piedmont exists to meet the workforce needs of Anson, Union, and other surrounding school districts, a mission that underlies all of our Teacher Preparation offerings.

We partner with both the Anson and Union county school districts for programs that allow current high school students to begin earning credits toward their education degree. We also offer a college transfer degree that prepares students to continue into a four-year education program.

Rounding out our offerings is the Educator Preparation Program, designed for teachers already working in elementary school classrooms who need to obtain their state licensure.

All of these programs are defined by small class sizes and experienced instructors who share their wealth of real-world knowledge.

Inspiring a New Generation

One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing my student’s eyes light up when they finally accomplish a goal. Having a hand in educating our future doctors, lawyers, business owners, and maybe even presidents makes this job so rewarding. I am so proud to be in a career where I can help shape the minds and hearts of the next generation.
