We Are Our Region’s Top Sonography Program
Medical sonographers use high-frequency soundwaves to produce images that assist physicians in making their diagnoses.
Sonographers use highly specialized equipment. They must have a deep understanding of human anatomy and strong technical and patient communication skills.
South Piedmont has long been regarded as a regional leader in sonography education, and our students are in high demand, often being hired before they graduate.
