South Piedmont Community College is celebrating 67 newly inducted members of its chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
The NSLS is the nation’s largest accredited leadership honor society, with more than 800 chapters and 2 million members. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either their academic standing or leadership potential.
“The students’ journey to induction included several key stages, beginning with an initial orientation. Following orientation, the inductees participated in Leadership Training Day, after which they were assigned to Success Networking Teams to work toward achieving a S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, actionable, rewarding, time-specific) goal. Additionally, the inductees attended several speaker broadcasts featuring distinguished leaders from various fields,” said Connie Gardner, South Piedmont’s NSLS advisor.
“The culmination of these comprehensive activities led to the formal induction ceremony, a momentous occasion recognizing the hard work and dedication of all the new members. This event not only marked their full induction into the NSLS but also celebrated their commitment to developing as leaders. Congratulations to all the newly inducted members.”
