- Your SPCC student account will be created within 48 business hours after your admissions application has been processed.
- Check your personal email for updates from admissions@spcc.edu regarding your admission status.
- Once you receive a final email from admissions@spcc.edu that your file is complete, you are ready to register through your SPCC provided Go! Student Portal.

Microsoft Teams:
- As students, you have access to Microsoft Teams. You will log in with your SPCC student email and password. You can download Microsoft Teams on your smart phone or computer.
- Virtual meetings can be on a desktop computer or a smart phone. Registration must be done on a desktop or laptop computer. Your Go! Student Portal does not work on a smart phone.
- Appointments can be requested through Aviso or Q-less. If a virtual appointment is requested, an advisor will send a Microsoft Teams link meeting request through your SPCC email.

- Get step by step directions on how to make an online appointment through WCOnline by clicking here.
- Firefox is the preferred browser for WCOnline tutoring. Your laptop camera and microphone should be on and available. Choose to allow, use, or share the camera and microphone in the session. A camera is required to share audio and video.
- If a student does not have a camera on his/her laptop, s/he may communicate with the tutor during the tutoring session via the chat box on the platform, or by calling the ASC at 704-290-5239 to make arrangements to speak with the tutor via the phone during the tutoring session.

SPCC now uses Bibliu, our partner platform for textbooks. You can find all course materials available via the Bibliu tile in the SPCC Navigate App to support your learning.
BibliU is a platform that will:
- Provide access to textbooks and many course resources through a mobile-friendly app and directly through Moodle.
- Allow you to search across all of your books and resources.
- Allow you to annotate your books and resources as you read them.
- Provide feedback to instructors designed to help them support your learning.
- Provide a flat, predictable, low cost per course for all materials—fees will be added to your bills, and you may use financial aid.

FERPA laws require that student account information may be given only to the student, with minor exceptions. Click here to complete the FERPA Release Form to give South Piedmont permission to speak with others, as you identify on the form.
Career Services
Access the job board, listen to career podcasts, build a career portfolio, and build or update your resume by activating your account in College Central Network. Counselors can help students with time and stress management and can make referrals to community resources and short-term counseling.

Emergency Assistance
COVID-19 student emergency assistance may be available to students who experience cost of attendance hardships based on challenges associated with COVID-19. Award decisions will be made based on the applicant’s individual situation, and amounts awarded are subject to limitations. Applicants must state the amount requested and may be required to provide documentation to support that amount. The student is not responsible for any type of repayment for the money awarded.

Coronavirus information should be received only from trusted sources/websites to avoid phishing campaigns as well as bad/incorrect information and speculation that could result from visiting unreliable websites.

- WiFi can be accessed from the parking lots of SPCC locations.

COVID-19 Student & Employee Protocol
- Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. The following are known symptoms but may not include all possible symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea

Self-quarantine and/or self-isolation is a precautionary measure that students should take if they have been or have strong reason to believe they have potentially been exposed to a contagious disease such as Coronavirus (COVID-19) or if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19. - Student Records wants to make sure you have access to all necessary forms to include Change of Program, Course Repeat Request, Student Initiated Withdrawal, Transcript Request, and others. Transcript Requests
- Official transcripts that need to be mailed/emailed to another institution or mailed to a specific address can be requested through Parchment. More detailed instructions, including payment and delivery are found on the Records page of the SPCC website.
- The preferred method of sending transcripts to SPCC is through a secured electronic transcript provider such as National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, Scrip-safe, etc., if the institution you attended offers this option. If prompted, please have the transcript sent to admissions@spcc.edu. Otherwise, you may mail the transcript to: South Piedmont Community College, Attn. Admissions, PO Box 126, Polkton, NC 28135.
Transcript Evaluations
- Student Records will continue to evaluate all college and military transcripts that are received and processed through Admissions.
- You will receive an email once your transcript evaluation is complete.
