Created through the generosity of the James R. and Bronnie L. Braswell Trust. The Scholarship awards enthusiastic and personable students who serve as ambassadors for the SPCC Foundation at various fundraising and donor events. Scholarship is reoccurring each semester dependent upon meeting criteria. |
30 hours documented Foundation service/semester FT (15 hours for PT). Applicant must submit a faculty letter of recommendation. Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. each semester. Preference to students who do not qualify for financial aid. |

LAWA (Latin Americans Working for Achievement) Scholarship | $1000 | Curriculum | Full-time | This program consists of a series of workshops for high school students and their parents to provide guidance and informational resources to encourage Latino and other minority teenagers to successfully complete high school and pursue a higher education. |
