Congratulations to the most recent graduates of South Piedmont Community College’s Paramedic Certification Program.

The College celebrated the following graduates during a ceremony at the Old Charlotte Highway campus on July 19:

Daniel Henn of Monroe

Zachary Palmer of Indian Trail

Mariah Patty of Matthews

David Poplavsky of Indian Trail

All four of the graduates are employed by Union Emergency Medical Services.

“It was an honor and a pleasure to work alongside these outstanding first responders as they advanced their education, expanded their skill sets, and deepened their ability to serve our community. We are proud to call the South Piedmont alumni and wish them the very best as they move forward in their careers,” said Sam Bishop, program director for fire, rescue and EMS.

Paramedic Certification is a 12-month program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. For more information, visit: https://spcc.edu/areas-of-study/public-safety/emergency-services/emt-paramedic-certification/.
