Food Pantry

The SPCC Food Pantry opened January 2020 to meet the needs of students facing food insecurity as they are working towards achieving their academic goals. The food pantry serves as a resource for currently enrolled students, as well as faculty or staff, to address immediate food needs.

Eligibility

The food pantry is open to any currently enrolled SPCC student, faculty or staff member.

How many times may a patron visit?

Patrons may access the pantry twice a month.

How much food is provided per patron?

Food pantry volunteers assist patrons by providing food based on the number of family members living in the household.

Ways to contact

Patrons may access the pantry by stopping in at either one of our locations during our hours of operation or by emailing foodpantry@spcc.edu.

Locations & Hours of Operation

The Monroe Pantry is located in the Braswell Building, room 2406
The Polkton Pantry is located in Horne Library, room 124

*Open by appointment only until further notice.

Donations

The food pantry does accept food donation of dry non-perishable items. For more information on how to make a food donation please email us at foodpantry@spcc.edu.
