Will you be a First Year New student at SPCC this Fall? If so, join the First Year Experience Learning Community to get your college experience off to a great start! A First Year Experience (FYE) Learning Community is a group of 20 students enrolled in three pre-determined college courses. Participants will work together during their first semester at SPCC to achieve academic success and have fun! In addition to taking classes together, a learning community provides students with an embedded tutor and pre-scheduled times to study, work on class assignments, or plan group projects. You build social and academic connections through Through frequent interactions.
SPCC students must be taking classes for the FIRST time in the Fall Semester each year and have placed into ENG 111 to be eligible. Interested? Incoming freshmen can register for the First Year Experience Learning Community in the Advising Center. For more information email Jim McAlhaney at fye@spcc.edu.
