Leap Into College with Us on Leap Day

Our Leap Into College Day offers free interactive sessions for community members covering a wide range of subjects, including science, technology, arts, business, health, and more. Classes will be led by South Piedmont Community College faculty and staff volunteering to share their expertise and experiences with community members. Choose to visit either our Anson County campus or our Union County campus.

Register for one session or as many as will fit into your schedule – explore all of your options!

Registration will close at noon on Thursday, February 27. Same day registration will be available on a walk-in basis the day of the event.

Open sessions require no registration.

FAQs

Q: Will there be childcare?
A: Yes. Your child must be potty trained. Add-on childcare during the registration process. A snack and drink will be provided.

Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: Lunch will not be provided on the Anson campus since the sessions end at noon. However, lunch will be available for purchase on the Union County campus in the cafe of Building A.

Q: Is there any cost?
A: There is no cost, unless you choose to purchase lunch at the cafe.

Q: What are the Open Sessions?
A: Open sessions are available for you to gain knowledge about SPCC – admissions, financial aid and more. These sessions are drop in and registration is not necessary.

Q: Are there limited seats available?
A: Yes, our sessions have limited seating. Some sessions are offered more than once during the day to give you opportunity to attend.

Q: What ages should attend the session?
A: The sessions will be geared toward high school students and adults, but all ages, including middle schoolers are encouraged to register!
