Why Choose NDE?
Non-Destructive Examination/Testing (NDE or NDT) is a truly exciting field and brings the additional benefit of expansive and good-paying career opportunities. SPCC’s NDE program is aimed at equipping individuals with the skills necessary to start an entry-level career in NDE. Upon completion, students will have fulfilled training requirements that satisfy their ability to fill an entry-level position in the field. They also have the option of pursuing additional levels of certification with SPCC.
What is NDE?
NDE is focused on ensuring product and quality safety and its application is used in many areas including planes, trains, roller coasters, pipelines, bridges, and so much more. More specifically, students will study a group of techniques used to determine the structural integrity of a material or component without damaging or impairing the serviceability of the part or system.
