Are you looking for meaningful work where you can make a difference in the lives of others?
Do you have a passion for helping individuals to lead independent, successful lives?
Are you seeking knowledge on how to best support individuals with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)?
Skilled Paraprofessionals who can work with children with AUTISM are in HIGH DEMAND!
South Piedmont Community College’s new Autism Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification training will give you the foundational skills to successfully implement effective Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) interventions.
In this class you will:
- Learn about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which is considered the “gold-standard” of treatment for improving symptoms of ASD.
- Identify best practices for assisting individuals with functional communication acquisition, social skill development, and behavior change.
- Earn a certificate of completion, which meets one portion of the requirements needed to sit for the RBT certification exam (nationally certified through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board [BACB]).
- Make yourself extremely marketable to organizations across the country.
Students who pass the RBT exam will be considered for jobs at the Carolina Center for ABA and Autism Treatment, with locations across North Carolina!
