PRACTICAL NURSING

Program Description

The Practical Nursing Diploma curriculum prepares individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide nursing care to children and adults.

Students will participate in assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.

Graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN), which is required for practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).

The Practical Nursing Program only admits students in the fall semester. All applications for the Fall 2023 Cohort must be completed by March 17th, 2023. This includes TEAS testing, CNA certification, and transcripts. Phase II applications are only available after completing the Information Session Quiz. Phase II applications must be turned in to Donna Papa (dpapa@spcc.edu) by appointment.

Phase II applications will be sent via email to the email address you provide when completing the Quiz. Please allow up to 5 business days after you complete the quiz to receive the Phase II application.
